Visitors to the Mennonite Heritage Village in Steinbach, Manitoba can tour the historic building which once housed students who attended the Blumenhof Private Mennonite School.

A small wooden building built in 1881 housed all the kids who attended the Blumenhof Private Mennonite School in Steinbach, Manitoba. A majority of the Mennonite schools built had the same basic classroom layout as the public schools with one teacher and the same type of teaching under one roof.

While visiting Steinbach, Manitoba, stop by the Mennonite Heritage Village to see the school and entire village which brings to life the way the Mennonite people lived dating back to the 16th century.
