The flat rocks surrounding Peggy's Cove Lighthouse in St. Margaret's Bay in Nova Scotia are ideal for walking across to capture beautiful pictures of the lighthouse. Sunset is an incredible time of day along these coastal shores as the lighting reflects off the area while altering the colors of the sky.
The lighthouse has lit the coastal waters since 1868 when the original lighthouse stood only 50 feet west from where this one was erected in 1915. Peggy's Cove Lighthouse is one of the most popular tourist attractions in Eastern Canada and during the summer months, a post office can be found in the tower.
