The coffee shop, The Daily Grind", has become a very popular place in downtown Halifax, Nova Scotia as well as many other of the franchises. The sign outside the coffee shop, displays a boy with his bike and a stack full of papers under the bright gold writing advertising for The Daily Grind.

This coffee shop franchise was started in 1995 and has become one of the fasting growing multi-store chains. Customers have a wide assortment of coffee blends to choose from, in fact, sometimes there are too many and people have a hard time making up their mind.
