An array of colorful flowers and plants adorn the various gardens around the Band Rotunda along Spring Garden Road in the Halifax Public Gardens in Nova Scotia, Canada. The Halifax Public Gardens once covered a small area of five and half acres and have now expanded to a very colorful sixteen acres open to the public from May to November. Above the tree line, the city buildings of downtown Halifax can be seen but the tranquility in the gardens takes away from the hustle and bustle of the city life.
