The sleeping quarters at the Commissioners suite in Fort Walsh National Historic Site in Saskatchewan, Canada are decorated with a beautiful wooden bed frame and a dresser to match. All the necessities needed, plus more, were supplied for the Commissioner during the eight years that Fort Walsh was opened in 1875 to 1883.
When touring Fort Walsh today, visitors can wander through the different sleeping quarters to see how the North West Mounted Police lived in the 19th century.
