The soft yellow and pink lighting at sunset shimmers across the surface of the tranquil water of George Lake in Killarney Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada. The shores of George Lake are blanketed by ancient rocks, very smooth on top which are typical of the Canadian Shield.
Across the lake, the sun has disappeared for another day dipping behind the remains of the mountains, all which have been formed over the years by glaciers, leaving behind a bright yellow glow. Hiking trails are found around George Lake where one can explore the beautiful landscape and the unique geological features. Campsites are found along George Lake where the beauty of a sunset can be enjoyed while preparing a barbecue dinner and listening to the calls of the wild. A pristine wilderness area situated at the northern end of Georgian Bay in the heart of Killarney Provincial Park which becomes more populated every year during the summer months.
