Along the shores of Last Mountain Lake in Rowan's Ravine Provincial Park in the Qu'Appelle Valley, Saskatchewan, many people come camping here to enjoy their summer holidays. Tents, RV's and small trailers pull into one of the camping sites and haul out their umbrellas, beach toys, floating devices, chairs and boats to enjoy the summer weather.
Last Mountain Lake is about 2 kilometers wide and 70 kilometers long allowing plenty of beach so that summer vacationers do not have to crowd together in one area. Lots of trees surround the camping area to provide some shade for those who like to stay out of the direct sunlight.
A long list of outdoor activities are available at Last Mountain Lake during the summer such as swimming, tanning, fishing, canoeing, boating, camping, golfing, volleyball and hiking and biking trails.
