The Legislative Assembly Building has been declared a Provincial Historic Site which has been opened since 1882 and is located in the downtown core of Fredericton, New Brunswick. A previous building stood here as the Legislative Building, but a fire destroyed it and this unique three storey sandstone building with a mansard roof and corner towers replaced it.
