A large log left stranded on the beach at Pancake Bay in Pancake Bay Provincial Park in Ontario has been on an adventure of its own after traveling around Lake Superior. Three kilometers of sandy beach fringed by Autumn colored trees and the sound of the waves lapping up onto the beach, makes Pancake Bay a beautiful and tranquil place for an afternoon stroll.
The sand on the beach at Pancake Bay has been building up over many years from the wind and wave action coming off Lake Superior eventually creating this beautiful sandy area. Many tourists flock to Pancake Bay Provincial Park during the summer months to enjoy a day at the beach, to spend a few days camping in the wilderness amongst the wildlife or hiking through the nature trails.
