The city of Thunder Bay in Ontario, Canada has two kraft mills, one producing softwood pulp and the other dealing with either softwood or hardwood pulp. In this mill, there is an endless list of the supplies used in the everyday lives of people all which are made from kraft pulp.
About 5 to 10% of the total quantity of kraft pulp is used for the newsprint mill while the rest of it is shipped to industries who use the pulp to create their finished products. Some of these products include various types of paper for printing or copying, boxes, facial tissues, masking tapes and photo paper.
