As the musical band marches and plays during the Sargeant Major's Parade and Graduation Ceremony at the RCMP Academy in the City of Regina, Saskatchewan, all members keep their eyes peeled on the procession leader. Dressed in a bright red jacket, white gloves and tanned colored stetson hat, the procession leader has worked closely with these members and continues to give them signals throughout their performance.
While attending the RCMP Academy, many members need a focus besides the hard work endured here before their own graduating moment. Volunteering for the band, the procession leader teaches them everything they need to know. Some play drums, others trombones or trumpets and they all learn very quickly and master their songs before the onset of this magical day.
