Sand River Autumn Leaves Lake Superior Provincial Park

As the Sand River in Lake Superior Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada rushes over and past the large boulders, a beautiful display of Autumn colored leaves rest atop a rock. White foam creates a unique picture across the surface of the water as it makes its way over the rock ledges.

The Sand River follows its journey from Sand Lake to Lake Superior and on route descends in a chain of low cascades through Lake Superior Provincial Park.
