Visitors to Lake Superior Provincial Park in Ontario, Canada have created a beautiful autumn leaf display which has been placed atop a large boulder. In the backdrop, a waterfall cascades over the rock ledges leaving a mist behind which gently blankets the leaf display in wetness.
The river can show its fury at the base of some of the waterfalls as the Sand River can move quite rapidly at times. The leaf display will soon disappear if a wind sweeps through Lake Superior Provincial Park which will wash the leaves into the Sand River, continuing on their journey downstream.
Following the Sand River Route in Lake Superior Provincial Park in Ontario, one will find many rapids, most of them classified as class I & II.
