The historic building which houses the Socio Cultural Manoir Le Boutillier on the Gaspesie Peninsula in Quebec, Canada is surrounded by the beauty of Forillon National Park. Visitors to the park, can tour through the Socio Cultural Manoir Le Boutillier where the heritage of Gaspesie comes to light.
At the Manoir, visitors can admire the refurbished interior dating back to the 1850's when it was home to a trading post and a local resident, have a coffee in the dining room or shop for souvenirs in the craft store. Many stand in awe of the incredible architecture of this National Historic Site which was carefully redone to retain its original beauty.
Declared as a National Historic Site in 2000, the City of Gaspe has owned the Manoir since September of 1996.
