Three stages beginning in 1913, were needed to build the historical landmark, home to the Sun Life Building in Centre Ville in Montreal, Quebec, finally being completed in 1931. Standing 24 stories high and 400 feet tall, the Sun Life Building is the 17th tallest building in Montreal city, Quebec, a majority of it being used for offices. Located in the central business district, many business in the Sun Life Building are pleased with their office space making the rental occupancy very limited to newcomers.

The architecture on the Sun Life Building is the first thing which catches the eye of many but the interior is also amazing and offers a cafeteria, a dining room, a boardroom, a medical centre, a bowling alley, a shooting range, a gymnasium and pool rooms.
