As the sun filters through the clouds into the marshland in Point Pelee National Park in Leamington, Ontario, the forest growth and patches of blue sky show their reflections in the swamp. This trail is called the Woodland Trail which is a 2.75 kilometer loop or about an hour adventure taking you through the oldest sections of the forest.
There are many different trails throughout Point Pelee National Park all which give visitors a different perspective of this unique area. The shortest trail is about 15 minutes in length while the longest one takes about 4 hours for the return trip.
The Woodland Trail is one which is very serene and scenic especially during the morning when the sun begins to rise and highlight the growth around the swamp.
