An insect from Thailand is the Giant Cicada which can be seen at the Newfoundland Insectarium and Butterfly Pavilion in Newfoundland Labrador. These unique insects are harmless as they do not bite or sting and are never considered as pests.
The cicada is a large homopterous insect with wings and a body that is transparent and found mainly in warmer countries like Thailand. The veins in the wings are clearly seen while the head shows of its eyes which are set quite far apart.
