In The Forks Market in the City of Winnipeg, Manitoba, there are more than 50 shops, some filled with clothes, jewelry, toys and artwork. On the upper level is where you will locate the shops, while down on the lower level, stalls fill the area with produce, vegetables, meats, cheese and baked goods. A hayloft features crafts and artwork from many of the local artists.
The building which houses The Forks Market was once home to two stables used by rail companies around the early 1900's. Bridges and a courtyard were added to the area and the stables became one and now offers visitors an incredible shopping experience.
