As a thunderstorm passes through the city of Regina in Saskatchewan, Canada, it opens the sky to a brightly coloured rainbow arcing above the trees. Each color of the rainbow prominently stands out as the dark clouds filled with rain still linger above Regina but the sun manages to peek through enough to form this natural phenomena.
A rainbow is made up of seven colors which the human eye can clearly see, red, orange, yellow, green, blue, indigo and violet. In reality, there is a continuous sequence of colors from red to violet, but many of them can not be seen.
