The red and white lighthouse at Cape Forchu overlooks the sea at Yarmouth Harbour in Nova Scotia, Canada which was the second tower to be erected in this location. This lighthouse was built in the early 1960's, but the original one stood along these shores since 1840.
The lighthouse stands at 23 meters high with a lantern on top which can be seen for at least 30 nautical miles. The buildings around the Cape Forchu lighthouse are housed with a tea room and a museum which overlook Yarmouth Harbour.
