Mascot Cochrane Ontario

A welcome sight for all visitors is a statue of a Polar Bear which is the mascot for the town of Cochrane, Ontario.

As you enter into the town of Cochrane, Ontario a large white animal statue known as Chimo the polar bear welcomes tourists to this friendly place. The mascot was named Chimo due to the face that in means "I am friendly" or "Welcome" after being translated to English from Inuit.
