A close up picture of a polar bear in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area in Manitoba, Canada, lets us see the snow white fur covering his body and the massive size of his head. His tiny rounded ears, along with his short tail, aid in the Polar Bear losing any heat. The blubber and thick coat of fur insulate the Polar Bear from the cold Arctic climates as he sets out to the shores of the Hudson Bay for food.
Small dark eyes and rounded black nose prominently stand out against his creamy white colored fur. They have a keen sense of smell and they can sniff out a seal for miles.
