In The Great Sand Hills near Sceptre, Saskatchewan, massive sand dunes rise out of nowhere, some being 35 - 40 feet high and 160 yards long. Sand dunes span across this landscape, some a kilometer apart, and in between the rolling hills, the growth of green vegetation flourishes, one being a lonely tree which sprouts out of the sand.
While visiting The Great Sand Hills, take your shoes off and feel the softness and coolness of the sand as it squeezes between your toes. A great place to visit on a beautiful summer day, but not so pleasant if a wind storm passes through.
