Yonge Street or Yonge Dundas Square in downtown Toronto, Ontario in Canada, comes to life at night as the lights illuminate the buildings, home to night clubs, theaters, restaurants, bars and clubs. Cars whizz up and down Yonge Street leaving behind the reflections of their headlights and tail lights.
Being a major arterial street in downtown Toronto, Yonge Street is known as the longest street in the world and tourists will find many of the attractions in this area. This is truly the heart of the city, with the square opening to the public in November of 2002. As many as 56 million people pass through the square every year to work, shop, eat or play during the day and night time hours.
