As a tundra buggy tour in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area in Manitoba, Canada nears, a mother polar bear stays very close to her cub. With the cub nestled against her legs, the mother will do anything necessary to protect her cub if there is any sign of a threat.
Being the first winter for this cub, the mother Polar Bear will teach her young all the tricks to survive the cold winters in the Churchill Wildlife Management Area. After about two or three years, the cub will be weaned completely and will take to the wilderness on its own.
