Two of the mascots at the RCMP Heritage Centre in Regina, Saskatchewan, a Black Bear and a Moose dressed in traditional RCMP uniform jackets and hats are a welcoming site for visitors. The eyes of children light up and a grin appears on their face as soon as they see these two large statues of the animals.
The RCMP Heritage Centre has become one of the most visited tourist attractions since its opening in May, 2007 where people can learn of the history of the Royal Canadian Mountain Police. Throughout the picturesque building, visitors can explore the exhibits, multimedia displays or partake in the tours and programs.
